Sourcing to travel
Croatia's construction, tourism and hospitality sectors along the Adriatic coast are recruiting skilled and semi-skilled Pakistani workers, with EU work permits.
As a Government of Pakistan–licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP Licence No. 4035, BEOE-registered) with over 15 years of international recruitment experience, Falisha Manpower sources skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled Pakistani workers for employers in Croatia across construction, manufacturing, welding, logistics, agriculture, hospitality and caregiving, in line with applicable work-permit and employment regulations.
With a nationwide sourcing network and offices in Rawalpindi (head office), Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), our team manages candidate screening, documentation and full deployment coordination throughout the hiring process.
Croatia joined the European Union in 2013 and, over the last few years, has turned into one of the busiest European destinations for Pakistani workers. A shrinking, ageing domestic population and the steady emigration of Croatians to richer EU states have left employers short of hands just as the economy expands, so the country now issues large numbers of permits to workers from outside the Union.
The pull runs along two tracks. A long summer tourism season on the Adriatic needs service staff in huge numbers, while a construction and industrial base keeps hiring the year round. Since adopting the euro and joining the Schengen area in 2023, Croatia has become an even more attractive place to work, giving a candidate a secure foothold in the heart of the EU.
Falisha Manpower sources, screens and trade-tests Croatian-bound candidates in Pakistan and mobilises them for building contractors, shipyards, hotels and factories, managing the documentation from our offices from first enquiry to arrival.
Construction leads the demand. We place masons, steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, scaffolders, concrete crews, electricians, plumbers, tilers and painters, together with the welders and fabricators that the country's metal industry and shipyards rely on, and the site foremen who run the crews.
Away from the building site, Croatia takes manufacturing and production operators, warehouse and logistics staff, forklift and delivery drivers, and a large seasonal intake for tourism — hotel and restaurant staff, cooks and kitchen hands, housekeeping and cleaners. Every worker is matched to the employer's requirement and put through a trade test to confirm their skills before selection.
Our placements follow the work: Zagreb, the capital, and the industrial belt around it; the Dalmatian coast around Split and Dubrovnik, where tourism and construction peak together; the northern port city of Rijeka, with its shipbuilding and logistics; and Osijek and the eastern Slavonia region for agriculture and manufacturing.
Wherever the posting sits, sourcing, screening and paperwork are coordinated from our Rawalpindi head office and branches in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, so a Croatian employer deals with one organised point of contact from selection through to the worker landing on site.
Croatia runs an employer-led system. The Croatian employer secures the residence-and-work permit for the role, after which the worker applies for a long-stay (type D) visa at a Croatian embassy or consulate and registers residence once in the country.
Medical-fitness screening and Protector of Emigrants clearance are completed in Pakistan before travel, and Falisha handles contract attestation, visa paperwork and ticketing so the permit, visa and flight line up without avoidable delays.
As an EU member state, Croatia sets a statutory minimum wage and requires a written employment contract stating pay, working hours, leave and the length of the posting, backed by social-security contributions and the labour protections common across the Union. A Croatian job therefore places a candidate squarely inside the EU labour market.
We put workers forward only on documented contracts and go through the terms with each of them before departure, so there is no confusion about wages or conditions once they begin.
If you are applying for Croatia you will generally need a valid passport, trade or education certificates, experience letters and a clean medical; most technical roles include a short trade test so your skills are verified before selection. Once an employer confirms you, we arrange the permit, the long-stay visa and your Protector of Emigrants clearance and book your travel.
On arrival your employer helps you register your residence and usually assists with initial accommodation as set out in your contract. We brief every worker fully before they leave Pakistan and, consistent with BEOE and Protector of Emigrants rules, Falisha Manpower never charges candidates unlawful fees.
Croatia's demand has an unusual shape because three sectors pull at once. The country's long shipbuilding tradition — with yards at Split, Rijeka and Pula — keeps steady demand for welders, platers, pipe fitters, fabricators and marine electricians, exactly the certified trades we trade-test and deploy from Pakistan.
Construction is the second engine. Housing, tourism infrastructure and EU-funded projects need the full range of civil and MEP trades, and because so many Croatian tradespeople have moved abroad, contractors increasingly build their crews around overseas workers.
The third is the Adriatic tourism season. From late spring the coast and islands need large numbers of hotel, restaurant, kitchen and housekeeping staff, and employers plan that intake months ahead. We mobilise individuals or complete teams in step with each sector's calendar, keeping the hiring company updated at every stage.
