The United Kingdom offers sponsored routes for skilled Pakistani workers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, under its Skilled Worker and Health & Care Worker visas — with demand across construction, engineering, welding, hospitality, logistics, food processing and registered nursing.
As a Government of Pakistan–licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP Licence No. 4035, BEOE-registered) with over 15 years of international recruitment experience, Falisha Manpower sources skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled Pakistani workers for employers in the United Kingdom across health & social care, construction, hospitality, logistics and engineering, in line with applicable work-permit and employment regulations.
With a nationwide sourcing network and offices in Rawalpindi (head office), Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), our team manages candidate screening, documentation and full deployment coordination throughout the hiring process.
The United Kingdom hires overseas workers mainly through the Skilled Worker visa, which requires a job with a UK employer that holds a sponsor licence and issues a Certificate of Sponsorship. The role must meet the skill level and salary threshold set by the Home Office, and the worker must show the required level of English. Falisha Manpower works with licensed UK sponsors to place skilled Pakistani candidates into eligible roles.
It is important to be realistic about the rules: since 22 July 2025 the Health & Care Worker route no longer accepts new overseas applications for care workers and senior care workers, so UK demand we recruit for now centres on registered nurses, skilled trades, engineering, construction, hospitality, logistics and food production rather than entry-level care.
On the technical side we place construction and civil trades (with CSCS where required), welders and fabricators, electricians, plumbers, HVAC and mechanical technicians, and engineers, along with HGV and bus drivers where sponsorship is available. Food-production, warehouse and logistics roles are also recruited where they meet the Skilled Worker criteria.
In healthcare we focus on registered nurses who meet NMC registration requirements, including the English test (IELTS or OET) and the OSCE clinical exam. We assess each candidate against the specific role and sponsor before putting them forward, so employers only see people who genuinely qualify.
We place candidates across the United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland — following where licensed sponsors are hiring, from London and the South East to the Midlands, the North of England and the Scottish central belt.
Because the UK consolidates England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland under one immigration system, we handle all four nations through the same Skilled Worker framework, matching candidates to the employer and location.
The route runs through the Skilled Worker visa: the sponsor issues a Certificate of Sponsorship, the candidate proves English at the required level through an approved test, pays the visa fee and Immigration Health Surcharge, gives biometrics and receives the visa. Nurses must complete NMC registration before they can work in that role.
We guide candidates through documentation, English testing and qualification recognition, and complete Protector of Emigrants clearance in Pakistan, so the process is orderly from offer to travel.
Skilled Worker roles must pay at least the Home Office salary threshold for the occupation, and all workers are covered by UK employment law — a written contract, at least the National Minimum or National Living Wage, paid holiday, and automatic enrolment into a workplace pension.
We make sure every placement is on a clear, sponsor-backed contract before travel and brief candidates on their role, pay and conditions, so there are no surprises on arrival.
To work in the UK you will need a valid passport, relevant qualifications and experience, an approved English-language test at the required level, and a Certificate of Sponsorship from a licensed UK employer. Budget for the visa fee and Immigration Health Surcharge, which the Home Office sets.
We only put candidates forward for genuine sponsored roles, guide you through each step, and — in line with BEOE and Protector rules — never charge candidates unlawful fees. Beware of anyone promising UK work without a real sponsor.
The UK has a structural shortage of skilled labour across construction and engineering. Housing targets, infrastructure upgrades, energy and retrofit work all compete for trades, so sponsors recruit bricklayers, carpenters, steel fixers, welders, pipefitters, electricians, HVAC and mechanical technicians, and civil and structural engineers — often asking for CSCS cards and recognised qualifications.
Healthcare is the other major corridor. NHS trusts and private providers continue to recruit registered nurses from overseas where candidates meet NMC requirements, including an approved English test (IELTS or OET) and the OSCE clinical exam. We prepare nurses for each stage and only put forward those who can realistically complete registration.
Across both, we work only with genuinely licensed sponsors and assess every candidate against the role, salary threshold and English requirement before they apply — so employers interview people who qualify, and candidates do not travel on false hopes.
The UK route is rewarding but rule-heavy, and it pays to go in informed. Roles must meet the Home Office skill and salary thresholds, English must be proven through an approved test, and the visa carries fees and an Immigration Health Surcharge the applicant budgets for. There is no shortcut around a genuine Certificate of Sponsorship from a licensed employer.
We set these expectations clearly from the first conversation, help candidates gather documents and sit the right English test, and manage the visa and Protector of Emigrants steps — which is why UK employers and candidates keep coming back to us.
What we recruit
Work & visa routes
The main legal pathways we recruit through. We handle the documentation and visa process end-to-end.
For eligible occupations with a licensed UK sponsor. Requires a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), meeting the salary threshold and an approved English-language test.
For eligible health professionals — registered nurses, doctors and allied health roles — sponsored by an approved employer, with reduced fees and no Immigration Health Surcharge. Since 22 July 2025 this route no longer accepts new overseas applications for care workers or senior care workers.
Immigration rules change — details are a general guide, not legal advice. We confirm the current route and requirements for each role.
