Austria's construction, manufacturing, tourism and healthcare sectors in the heart of Europe offer structured, well-regulated opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers, with EU work authorisation.
As a Government of Pakistan–licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP Licence No. 4035, BEOE-registered) with over 15 years of international recruitment experience, Falisha Manpower sources skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled Pakistani workers for employers in Austria across construction, manufacturing, welding, logistics, agriculture, hospitality and caregiving, in line with applicable work-permit and employment regulations.
With a nationwide sourcing network and offices in Rawalpindi (head office), Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), our team manages candidate screening, documentation and full deployment coordination throughout the hiring process.
Austria is one of the wealthiest economies in the European Union, with high wages, strong labour protections and a central position between western and eastern Europe. An ageing population and persistently low unemployment have left construction firms, hotels, factories and care providers short of workers, and employers increasingly recruit from outside the Union to fill the gap.
Demand runs across construction, tourism, manufacturing and engineering, with growing interest in care and support roles. As an EU, eurozone and Schengen member, an Austrian job pays euro wages and gives a worker a secure, well-regulated base in the heart of Europe.
Falisha Manpower sources, screens and trade-tests candidates in Pakistan and mobilises them for Austrian contractors, hotels, manufacturers and service companies, managing the documentation from our offices from first enquiry through to arrival.
Construction leads much of the demand — masons, steel fixers, shuttering carpenters, scaffolders, electricians, plumbers, tilers and painters, together with the welders and fabricators that structural and industrial work require. Austria's engineering and manufacturing base adds CNC and machine operators, metalworkers and maintenance, mechanical and electrical technicians.
The tourism industry takes hotel and restaurant staff, cooks and kitchen hands, and housekeeping and maintenance workers across both its winter and summer seasons, while logistics employers need warehouse staff, forklift operators and drivers. Every candidate is matched to the employer's requirement and confirmed with a trade test where the role calls for proven skills.
Our placements follow the work: Vienna, the capital, for services, construction and logistics; Linz and Upper Austria for steel, engineering and heavy industry; Graz and Styria for automotive and precision manufacturing; and Salzburg, the Tyrol around Innsbruck and Vorarlberg for Alpine tourism.
Sourcing, screening and paperwork are coordinated from our Rawalpindi head office and branches in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, so an Austrian employer deals with one organised point of contact from trade testing in Pakistan to the worker arriving on site.
Austria runs an employer-led system. Skilled workers are hired mainly through the Red-White-Red Card (Rot-Weiss-Rot – Karte), a points-based combined work-and-residence permit tied to a specific employer and a shortage occupation, while seasonal tourism and agricultural work is filled through seasonal employment permits issued under annual quotas.
Fitness-for-work medicals and Protector of Emigrants clearance are completed in Pakistan before travel, and Falisha handles contract attestation, the visa file and ticketing so the permit, entry visa and flight line up without avoidable delays.
Austria is unusual in having no single statutory minimum wage; instead, pay floors are set by sector-wide collective agreements that cover most of the workforce, and a written employment contract must state salary, working hours and leave. Social-insurance registration and the labour protections common across the EU apply to every posting.
We put candidates forward only on documented contracts and go through the terms — including the applicable collective-agreement pay rate and any accommodation the employer provides — before departure, so there is no confusion about wages or conditions once the job begins.
For an Austrian role you will generally need a valid passport, trade or education certificates, experience letters and a clean medical, and most technical and trade positions include a trade test so your skills are verified before selection. Once an employer confirms you, we arrange the Red-White-Red Card or seasonal permit, the entry visa and your Protector of Emigrants clearance and book your travel.
On arrival you complete your residence registration and your employer typically assists with initial accommodation as set out in the contract. We brief every worker before departure and, in line with BEOE and Protector of Emigrants rules, Falisha never asks candidates for unlawful fees.
Austria is one of the few European destinations with two full tourism seasons, and that rhythm shapes its demand for workers. In winter the ski resorts of the Tyrol, Salzburg and Vorarlberg fill with visitors, and in summer the lakes, mountains and cities draw another wave, so hotels and resorts staff up heavily twice a year rather than once.
We supply the full range of hospitality roles — receptionists and hotel staff, waiters and bar staff, cooks and kitchen hands, housekeeping, cleaners and maintenance workers — and because both seasons are predictable, employers plan their recruitment months ahead. That lets us source, screen and mobilise in good time rather than at the last minute.
Many resort employers include accommodation with the contract, which we confirm in advance, and roles often repeat season after season, giving reliable workers the chance to return. Alongside the resorts, the hotels and restaurants of Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck keep hiring the year round, so Austria offers both seasonal and steady hospitality work in one high-wage market.
