Sourcing to travel
Greece recruits across agriculture, tourism and construction on the mainland and islands, offering seasonal and long-term roles for Pakistani workers.
As a Government of Pakistan–licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP Licence No. 4035, BEOE-registered) with over 15 years of international recruitment experience, Falisha Manpower sources skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled Pakistani workers for employers in Greece across construction, manufacturing, welding, logistics, agriculture, hospitality and caregiving, in line with applicable work-permit and employment regulations.
With a nationwide sourcing network and offices in Rawalpindi (head office), Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), our team manages candidate screening, documentation and full deployment coordination throughout the hiring process.
Greece sits at a crossroads of the Mediterranean and has long drawn migrant labour, but its appetite for overseas workers has sharpened as agriculture, tourism and construction all strain against a shrinking local workforce. As an EU and eurozone member, a Greek job also places a worker inside the wider European labour market.
Two rhythms drive the demand. A vast agricultural sector — olives, citrus, vegetables and greenhouse crops — needs large numbers of seasonal hands, while one of the world's biggest tourism industries fills the islands and coast every summer. Construction, food processing and logistics then keep hiring through the rest of the year.
Greece and Pakistan have deepened their labour cooperation in recent years, opening more structured routes for both seasonal and longer-term employment. Falisha Manpower sources, screens and prepares candidates in Pakistan and mobilises them for Greek farms, hotels, contractors and food plants.
Agriculture is the single largest source of demand — field and harvest workers, greenhouse and packhouse staff, and farm-machinery operators for the mainland's growing regions and the islands. The long tourist season adds hotel and resort staff, waiters, cooks and kitchen hands, and housekeeping and cleaning teams across Athens, the islands and the coast.
Construction needs masons, steel fixers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and general site labour, while food-processing plants and warehouses take production, packing and logistics workers. We match candidates to the sector and employer and verify skills with a trade test wherever the role calls for one.
We deploy right across the country: Athens and the Attica region for services, construction and logistics; Thessaloniki and the north for industry and food processing; Crete, the Peloponnese and the Aegean and Ionian islands for tourism; and the farming belts of the mainland for seasonal agriculture.
Sourcing, screening and documentation are run from our Rawalpindi head office and branch network, so Greek employers work with a single organised partner from selection through to arrival.
Greece uses an employer-led route. The Greek employer secures the work approval or permit for the position, the worker applies for a national (type D) long-stay visa at a Greek mission, and a residence permit for employment is completed after arrival; seasonal agricultural work runs on a dedicated seasonal-employment route.
Before anyone flies, the required medical checks and Protector of Emigrants clearance are completed in Pakistan; from there our team takes on the attestation, the visa file and the travel so the pieces move in sequence rather than stalling.
As an EU member, Greece applies a statutory minimum wage and requires written employment contracts covering pay, hours and leave, with social-security registration and the labour protections shared across the Union. Seasonal schemes carry their own defined terms for the duration of the work.
We put candidates forward only on documented contracts and explain the terms before departure, so every worker knows exactly what their pay and conditions will be.
For Greece you will normally need a valid passport, relevant certificates and experience, and a clean medical; skilled roles include a trade test before selection, while seasonal agricultural intakes focus on fitness for the work. Once an employer confirms you, we arrange the visa, the residence paperwork and your Protector of Emigrants clearance and organise your travel.
Be realistic about the seasonal nature of much Greek work — some contracts are tied to the harvest or the tourist season — and we are honest with every candidate about this from the start. As BEOE and Protector of Emigrants regulations require, we never charge candidates any unlawful fee.
Tourism is Greece's flagship industry and one of the largest in the world, and each year it reshapes the country's labour market from late spring to autumn. Hotels, resorts and restaurants across Crete, the Cyclades, the Ionian islands, the Peloponnese and Athens take on tens of thousands of extra staff to carry the season.
We supply the full range of hospitality roles — receptionists and hotel staff, waiters and bar staff, cooks and kitchen hands, housekeeping, cleaners and maintenance workers — and because the season is predictable, employers plan their recruitment months in advance. That lets us source, screen and mobilise in good time rather than in a last-minute scramble.
Many island and coastal employers include accommodation with the contract, which we confirm in advance, and roles often repeat year after year, giving reliable workers the chance to return. We can mobilise individual specialists or whole seasonal teams to match each property's needs. For many workers a strong first season leads to repeat contracts and a longer-term foothold in European hospitality.
